This is the first Spanish settlement outside downtown. It is also known for being the barrio of Frida Kahlo. Full of colonial charm, Coyoacan neighborhood is unique. We will start in front of the Fonoteca Nacional, house of the dark legend Pedro de Alvarado. Then we will take a walk down by Francisco Sosa into the Callejon del Aguacate (Avocado Alley) where legends of old times will make you shiver. Then we will get to the square and garden where the Franciscans built their Convent and Cortes built his house, we will take a quick look inside the church’s baroque art. We will continue our stroll to visit one of the most renowned coffee shops in Mexico, we will also look to the house believed belonged to Malintzin, then finish by the cultural center Elena Garro.

We had an amazing tour with Ader doing the market immersion tour! He was friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and knew all the best spots. Our tour with him was a great way to experience CDMX! This was my second time doing a tour with a Mexico underground and I cannot recommend them enough!!Sarah Prensky-Pomeranz2023-01-10Gabriel was an awesome guide. Spoke very clearly and was very patient with our group which included kids and seniors. He took us to the best taco places outside of downtown Mexico and we believe him when he said it’s the best. We can’t imagine anything better than everything we’ve tried! Definitely well recommended and make sure you ask for Gabriel!Jill Gerodias Borja2023-01-06We were picked up early in the morning by our driver Jesus, who was very adept at negotiating the Mexico City traffic. Soon we were outside of all of that, and we were on our way to Teotihuacán. Our guide, Noa, was extremely knowledgeable, and furthermore, her English was impeccable for a native Latin speaker. By the end of the tour she had everyone feeling like a family.Stan Adams2022-12-29This is a must-do for your time in Mexico City! Rodrigo took us around, teaching us about the city’s history while introducing us to its culture through food (and the food was incredible). We experienced hidden surprises and left feeling more like a local than we ever could have imagined. If there’s one thing to prioritize, it’s this tour!!Laney Alspaugh2022-12-22Fantastic tour of Downtown Street food and the San Juan Market! Our guide Evelyn was extremely knowledgeable and had an infectious passion for the history, culture and of course food of the city. We learned so much from her and had a wonderful time. The food was phenomenal and Evelyn tailored it exactly to what we wanted to experience. We can’t wait to do more tours with this service in future visits.Katie Benesch2022-12-12Rodrigo was very kind and informative. We were able to try diverse food within walking distance.
