The day of the dead is a celebration that lasts 2 days and begins its preparations several days before.
On the Tour Day of the Dead Mexico City we will take the opportunity to enjoy the preparations of this celebration as much as possible.
- November 1st, 12am – Day of the Little Angels (Spirits of the children)
Holiday starts at midnight on Nov 1st, where the spirits of all deceased children are believed to be reunited with their families for 24 hours.
- November 2nd, 12am – Day of the Dead (Spirits of the adults)
A night filled with laughter and fun memories, at midnight of the following day the celebrations shift to honor the lives of the departed adults.
- November 2nd, Noon – Day of the Dead (Spirits of all the dead)
At noon it starts the grand finale and public celebration of the Day of the Dead, where people dressed up with Calavera painted faces and have parades in the streets.
